Unique to Hawai’i

An authentic Hawaiian wedding is more than a beautiful setting—it is a sacred union grounded in culture, ʻike (knowledge), and deep respect for the land, the ancestors, and the couple joining their lives together.

As Native Hawaiian cultural practitioners based in Hawaiʻi, we create weddings that are intentional, meaningful, and rooted in Hawaiian values—not performances or generic scripts. Every ceremony we craft honors the traditions of our people while thoughtfully reflecting the story, beliefs, and journey of each couple.

What Makes Our Hawaiian Weddings Authentic?

🌿 Cultural Integrity

Our ceremonies are led by a Hawaiian officiant (Kahu) who understands the cultural, historical, and spiritual foundations of Hawaiian marriage. We do not offer “one-size-fits-all” ceremonies. Each wedding is created with care, cultural awareness, and respect.

🌺 Intentionally Crafted Ceremonies

We take the time to learn your story and guide you through the meaning behind each element of the ceremony—from oli (chant) and pule (prayer) to hoʻokupu (offerings) and hoʻokupu manaʻo (intentional words of commitment). Every moment is purposeful.

🌊 Connection to Place

Hawaiian weddings honor the land and environment where the ceremony takes place. We acknowledge the ʻike of the ʻāina (land), the ocean, the wind, and the elements—recognizing that marriage is not only between two people, but within a larger living world.

🎶 Cultural Sound & Atmosphere

For couples who desire it, we provide traditional and contemporary Hawaiian music, sound support, and ceremonial flow that enhances the experience without overpowering its meaning. Everything supports the ceremony—nothing distracts from it.

We specialize in secular ceremonies, vow renewals, and elopements that are thoughtful and classy yet personal and culturally accurate.. Including elements of your culture, as well as readings, songs, and other ideas, into your ceremony program can help us to make your wedding ceremony unique and inclusive.
